００物件とは、初期費用のうちの２種類のお金を必要としない、賃貸用の住居である。
必要としない費用の１つ目は、日本語では敷金と呼ばれる、住居の所有者に預けておくお金である。
このお金は、家賃が滞納された場合や、退居の際に住居を修復する必要が生じた場合に、住居の所有者にされる。
残った敷金は、借家人に返還される。
ただし、住居の修復が必要かどうかの見解の違いから、トラブルになることも多い。
必要としない費用の２つ目は、日本語では礼金と呼ばれる、住居の所有者に支払われるお金である。
元々は、家を貸してもらうことについて、所有者への感謝を表すお金であるといわれる。
多くの賃貸物件では、これらのお金として、それぞれ、家賃の１～２ヶ月分に相当する金額を、契約時に支払わなければならない。
これらの費用の他に、引越しの際に必要となる初期費用として、不動産会社への仲介手数料無料や、家具や荷物の積み込みや運搬を行う引越し業者への支払いなどがある。
新生活を始めるにはたくさんのお金が必要となるため、大学を卒業したばかりの人など、貯金が少ない人には、００物件は有効な選択肢となっている。

Zero-zero bukken means houses for rent which don’t require 2 kinds of initial cost for moving-in.
One of the cost which isn’t required is security deposit paid to the owner, called shiki-kin in Japanese.
The security deposit is paid to the owner of the house in case the rent is not paid, or in case the house needs repair when it is vacated.
The rest of the security deposit is returned to the tenant.
However, in some cases, trouble occurs when the views differ on the need for repair.
The other of the cost which isn’t required is money paid to the owner, called rei-kin in Japanese.
It is said that, originally, this had been a token of appreciation for renting to the owner.
As for many properties for rent, these kinds of costs must be paid upon contract, which corresponds to the rent for a month or 2 months, respectively.
Besides above costs, the initial costs needed to move in include, for example, commission to a real estate agent and payment for removal company which loads or transports furniture and freight.
Since starting new life requires a lot of money, for those who have small savings such as who have just graduated a university, zero-zero bukken is a good option.
