Kimono police is slang meaning, to a kimono wearer, those who point out the incompleteness of his or her dressing, or fix his or her wearing although they are not asked to do.
Some of them reproach for not only a matter concerning his or her wearing itself such as how to tie a belt, but also hairstyle or makeup.
Further, high-grade kimono is often made of silk, and some of them criticize a kimono made of polyester as a fake.
Kimono police may suddenly speak to you in a town like a police officer who cracks down on traffic violations.
When you commit a traffic violation, you must pay a fine depending on the degree of the violation.
The total amount of fine paid for a year is estimated.
That is why some people say police search violations to achieve the target of collecting money, not to prevent accidents.
